Jen is a rock critic turned human-centered design strategist with two decades of experience observing behavior, framing the right questions, finding patterns, and transforming insights into fuel for innovation.

She co-authored Massive Change, an award-winning book on the future of global design, and has a multidisciplinary background in radio, print, and digital media—including an internship at Rolling Stone (circa Mutations, Moon Safari, and Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star).

She spent a decade at IDEO leading innovation programs for Fortune 500 companies spanning retail, hospitality, finance, automotive, and healthcare; later led the Design Strategy Practice at the architecture firm Taylor Design; and most recently drove global insights at Nike, advancing participatory research and inspiring story-led action across retail, sport, and race experiences worldwide.
